The Application Field of TPE Materials

Thermoplastic elastomer TPE is prepared by blending SBS or SEBS as the main substrate, processing oil and other additives. TPE or TPR is commonly referred to in the industry for short. The most important reason is that it has the following characteristics:
1. The elastomer TPE material has high elasticity, high strength and high rebound of rubber.
2. It has the characteristics of injection molding, environmental protection, safety, wide hardness range, and can be customized for production.
3. It has excellent coloring property, soft touch, weather resistance, fatigue resistance and temperature resistance, excellent processing performance and no need of vulcanization.
4. The processed leftover materials can be recycled 100% twice and the cost can be reduced without causing waste of resources.
5. It can not only be injection molded twice, but also be coated and bonded with PP, PE, PC, PS, ABS and other matrix materials, or be molded separately.
Elastomer TPE materials are occupying the territory originally belonging to vulcanized rubber. In the past ten years, elastomer TPE materials have been widely used in various fields: daily necessities, electronic appliances, automobile accessories, medical devices, sports equipment, baby products, toys, shoe materials, tool kit glue, adult products, pipes, wires and cables, etc.
